<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-_H7wXNthruM/Uw5hLU38_6I/AAAAAAAAByM/jyItTveUjz8/s1600/Oshawat+stitch.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-_H7wXNthruM/Uw5hLU38_6I/AAAAAAAAByM/jyItTveUjz8/s1600/Oshawat+stitch.jpeg" height="320" width="235" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I then stitch two of them and then sewed them together, Here is the finished key ring,</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Vgkp0MTbT00/Uw5hk4cvAVI/AAAAAAAAByU/lGsurSVjtpc/s1600/CAM00751.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Vgkp0MTbT00/Uw5hk4cvAVI/AAAAAAAAByU/lGsurSVjtpc/s1600/CAM00751.jpg" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>

<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-aIyi6sCkPcw/Uw5fYCsOofI/AAAAAAAABx4/3HG0JSiAdNo/s1600/Piccollo+stitch.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-aIyi6sCkPcw/Uw5fYCsOofI/AAAAAAAABx4/3HG0JSiAdNo/s1600/Piccollo+stitch.jpeg" height="400" width="287" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I stitched two of them so I could sew then together.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-DnfaHiG8Sg4/Uw5fq-6PpLI/AAAAAAAAByA/F1bBANJYevw/s1600/CAM00749.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-DnfaHiG8Sg4/Uw5fq-6PpLI/AAAAAAAAByA/F1bBANJYevw/s1600/CAM00749.jpg" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
And here is the finished thing, I am really happy with the way theist turn out. I have also tried to makes it fairly strong so it should break anytime soon.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17149103540840594889noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8876836749552079719.post-31655538529349471692014-03-01T21:00:00.000+00:002014-03-01T21:00:00.496+00:00Vegeta Tapestry Keyring Here is a little design I made, using a Vegeta Sprite I found of google Images. I changed it a bit and also did a normal form of Vegeta as well. I made this for my friend who is a fan of Dragon ball Z. I idea was to make a keyring with the normal version on one side and the Super Saiyan version one the other, Here are the patterns I used for each side,<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-1eSgHD7C0no/Uw5cFxoEEtI/AAAAAAAABxM/U1WuBNrLa7Q/s1600/Vegeta+Stitch+1.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-1eSgHD7C0no/Uw5cFxoEEtI/AAAAAAAABxM/U1WuBNrLa7Q/s1600/Vegeta+Stitch+1.jpeg" height="320" width="246" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-5cp5tUc1E_U/Uw5cJMNYYUI/AAAAAAAABxU/RHvzcf3LnwI/s1600/Vegeta+Stitch.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-5cp5tUc1E_U/Uw5cJMNYYUI/AAAAAAAABxU/RHvzcf3LnwI/s1600/Vegeta+Stitch.jpeg" height="320" width="246" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I flipped one so that when I sew it up the shape would match on each side, Here is the finished Keyring,</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-JkToIoz7FS4/Uw5dRmgwzEI/AAAAAAAABxk/KaHz5uqu8P8/s1600/CAM00734.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-JkToIoz7FS4/Uw5dRmgwzEI/AAAAAAAABxk/KaHz5uqu8P8/s1600/CAM00734.jpg" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-FeqSjb6bRUg/Uw5dbvAAR_I/AAAAAAAABxs/QM1NdZZRsoQ/s1600/CAM00735.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-FeqSjb6bRUg/Uw5dbvAAR_I/AAAAAAAABxs/QM1NdZZRsoQ/s1600/CAM00735.jpg" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I made these using plastic canvas and cotton. There will be more designs in the next coming posts.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17149103540840594889noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8876836749552079719.post-54330343511974283452014-02-26T21:18:00.000+00:002014-02-26T21:18:15.183+00:00Dog Cross stitch designI have been asked to do another cross stitch for a friend at work, so yet again I start with a drawing thats it shown below<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-8mNDPmzh0dU/Uw5YcLwPjgI/AAAAAAAABw4/RCEulQt-9pU/s1600/Dog+xstitch.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-8mNDPmzh0dU/Uw5YcLwPjgI/AAAAAAAABw4/RCEulQt-9pU/s1600/Dog+xstitch.jpeg" height="201" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Then using a light box I transferred the drawing to graph paper and then decided on the colours</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-pDq74R6-Slc/Uw5YUHSN02I/AAAAAAAABw0/69a5NP2Nh1Y/s1600/Dog+xstitch+1.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-pDq74R6-Slc/Uw5YUHSN02I/AAAAAAAABw0/69a5NP2Nh1Y/s1600/Dog+xstitch+1.jpeg" height="212" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Now I have the pattern, all I had to do is fine the right coloured cotton, me sure the aida and then stitch it, Below is the finished design,</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-t2FEBjORWJg/Uw5ZnWuGg2I/AAAAAAAABxA/VNx9kupL6sY/s1600/Dog+xstitch+2.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-t2FEBjORWJg/Uw5ZnWuGg2I/AAAAAAAABxA/VNx9kupL6sY/s1600/Dog+xstitch+2.jpeg" height="220" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I used a selection of full and half stitches to add depth to the drawing, I am really happy with the way this turned out, </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>

The first one I did was of the Pokemon Trubbish. As with any cross stitch I need to do the pattern as show below.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-8Y43n40Qkz8/UsUsvrF6wNI/AAAAAAAABvE/s8qmLIw0k3c/s1600/Trubbish.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="248" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-8Y43n40Qkz8/UsUsvrF6wNI/AAAAAAAABvE/s8qmLIw0k3c/s400/Trubbish.jpeg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-BWsFhOz4Qf8/UsUsw3ue3GI/AAAAAAAABvQ/Yeo9P5nLeiM/s1600/Trubbish+stitched.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="317" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-BWsFhOz4Qf8/UsUsw3ue3GI/AAAAAAAABvQ/Yeo9P5nLeiM/s320/Trubbish+stitched.jpeg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I then stitch it and this is how it came out. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-87W9X5iFsGQ/UsUtf-v2mFI/AAAAAAAABvU/JGCeF7G4KgU/s1600/CAM00723.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-87W9X5iFsGQ/UsUtf-v2mFI/AAAAAAAABvU/JGCeF7G4KgU/s320/CAM00723.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I then Framed it and this is how it turned out</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>

The first thing I had to do is draw the design on some graph paper like so:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-wrUR9i20CLw/UlUaEGzG8tI/AAAAAAAABuc/cJsfhTpeQDM/s1600/Bulbasaur+and+Psyduck.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="257" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-wrUR9i20CLw/UlUaEGzG8tI/AAAAAAAABuc/cJsfhTpeQDM/s400/Bulbasaur+and+Psyduck.jpeg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
From this I could do the actual cross stitch on Aida which took me about 3 days to make. I had to make sure I had all the right colours as well.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-DGYr8vqGg_g/UlUazvd6FgI/AAAAAAAABuk/FgSAc0l8ka0/s1600/Bulbasaur+and+Psyduck+1.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="226" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-DGYr8vqGg_g/UlUazvd6FgI/AAAAAAAABuk/FgSAc0l8ka0/s400/Bulbasaur+and+Psyduck+1.jpeg" width="400" /></a></div>

Here are a few images I did for someone I know, He wanted me to change the photographs he gave me into drawing images. </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-Elg8uf-SfkY/UlUWVQpVO3I/AAAAAAAABt8/KaPJSfYsLh8/s1600/Jons+Picture_V.2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="283" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-Elg8uf-SfkY/UlUWVQpVO3I/AAAAAAAABt8/KaPJSfYsLh8/s400/Jons+Picture_V.2.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-DbTj9PMROtk/UlUWZ-_CmkI/AAAAAAAABuE/6Xwxm7Rfdw4/s1600/Jon_picture_A.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-DbTj9PMROtk/UlUWZ-_CmkI/AAAAAAAABuE/6Xwxm7Rfdw4/s400/Jon_picture_A.jpg" width="398" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
For both of these I used Photoshop the get the different effects. For the bottom one it took a bit longer because there was a lot more happening. I had to use loads of different brushes but Im happy with how they turned out. </div>

Details can be seen here <a href="http://www.fringefest.org.uk/">http://www.fringefest.org.uk</a>.<br />
<br />
For this all the Arts students have been given the chance to enter a post card design for the show. So I have decided to do some cross stitched post cards. I had a long think of what sort of thing I would like to do and finally settled on a backstitched image base off my power of 9 animation.<br />
<br />
I did some designing and came up with this -<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-dxO5NJJ1Vno/UZNZLKGh0YI/AAAAAAAABns/OLbRFsUZnk4/s1600/pattern.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="171" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-dxO5NJJ1Vno/UZNZLKGh0YI/AAAAAAAABns/OLbRFsUZnk4/s400/pattern.jpeg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
So this was the pattern I used to create my postcards. After many hours of stitching I finally finished and ended up with these,<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-82M8PfJ0Agk/UZNaDuhaFXI/AAAAAAAABn4/5y5czwLn2V4/s1600/CAM00431.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-82M8PfJ0Agk/UZNaDuhaFXI/AAAAAAAABn4/5y5czwLn2V4/s400/CAM00431.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
I am really happy with them and cant wait to see them in the show.<br />
