Oshawott Keyring

Here is a Tapestry keyring I designed for my sister who wanted the Pokemon Oshawott, I had to design this one my self as I couldn't really find a sprite I could use, so as alway Here is the pattern I designed

I then stitch two of them and then sewed them together, Here is the finished key ring,

Piccolo Keyring Design

As I liked the Vegeta Design so much I thought I would make myself a Piccolo keyring, I I got stared in the design,

I stitched two of them so I could sew then together.

And here is the finished thing, I am really happy with the way theist turn out. I have also tried to makes it fairly strong so it should break anytime soon.

Vegeta Tapestry Keyring

Here is a little design I made, using a Vegeta Sprite I found of google Images. I changed it a bit and also did a normal form of Vegeta as well. I made this for my friend who is a fan of Dragon ball Z. I idea was to make a keyring with the normal version on one side and the Super Saiyan version one the other, Here are the patterns I used for each side,

I flipped one so that when I sew it up the shape would match on each side,  Here is the finished Keyring,

I made these using plastic canvas and cotton. There will be more designs in the next coming posts.

Dog Cross stitch design

I have been asked to do another cross stitch for a friend at work, so yet again I start with a drawing thats it shown below

Then using a light box I transferred the drawing to graph paper and then decided on the colours

Now I have the pattern, all I had to do is fine the right coloured cotton, me sure the aida and then stitch it, Below is the finished design,

I used a selection of full and half stitches to add depth to the drawing, I am really happy with the way this turned out, 

Commission - Cat Cross stitch

Just be four Christmas I had todo a cross stitch of a cat for one of my friends from work, He wanted a picture of a sleeping cat with the name Lady stitch on it some where, Here is the pattern I designed

I then stitch it

he was very happy with the end result and framed it to give as a present for Christmas. I may have another commission in the near future. 

Cross stitch Design - Magnezone

Heres the next cross stitch of the Pokemon Magnezone, Here is the design for it:

Cross stitch designs - Lucario

The next cross stitch I did was of the Pokemon Lucario. Same idea of the Tribbish, I did the pattern first.

Here it is all stitched, I then framed it.

Pokemon Cross stitch - Trubbish

For the next few post I have done some cross stitches of some Pokemon as presents for christmas. The first one I did was of the Pokemon Trubbish. As with any cross stitch I need to do the pattern as show below.

I then stitch it and this is how it came out.

Bulbasaur and Psyduck Cross stitch

For both my friends birthday I decided to make a cross stitched version of there Favourite Pokemon Bulbasaur and Psyduck. The first thing I had to do is draw the design on some graph paper like so:

From this I could do the actual cross stitch on Aida which took me about 3 days to make. I had to make sure I had all the right colours as well.

After I had done this I then framed it, I brought a frame and then painted it to match the picture. I decided to go for a green and blu which represents Grass and water to and to the Pokemon theme. 

Here is the finished thing.

Floristry - Flat Pack Bouquet

For my last week of Floristry I have made a Flat Pack Bouquet using, Roses, Carnations, Chrysanthemums, and some Gypsophila, I also finished it off by making a nice Chocolate box bow for decoration.

This finishes of my Floristry course so I now have a Entry 3 Level in Floristry. 

Floristry - Modern Line Arrangement

Here is my next creation for my Floristry course. I have made a modern line arrangment using Carnations, Ming Fern, Hosta, leaves and Geranium leaves. Im really enjoying my course and look forward to next week.

More Commission work.

Here are a few images I did for someone I know, He wanted me to change the photographs he gave me into drawing images. 

For both of these I used Photoshop the get the different effects. For the bottom one it took a bit longer because  there was a lot more happening. I had to use loads of different brushes but Im happy with how they turned out. 

Floristry - Posy arrangement

Here is another I did in Floristry class, Using Roses and Spray carnations. This is a Posy Arrangement and I also used some oasis of the middle and a O - bowl for the stand.

Seaside Picture - All Finished

I have finally finished my Seaside painting, I had a lot of fun making it and might do something else like this again. 

I used acrylic paint of it, but I watered down some of the colours. 

Sea Side Painting - Getting there

The painting is going well, I have done all that main colours now, I will now wait for this to dry and then do the details and shading, 

Here I have started to do some detail on the children, there are still some bits that need doing but it is almost done.

Flower broach - Buttoniare

I have started a course in Floristry and I have decided to document all the things that I make so, for the first week I have made a Boutonniere or broach  out of a Gerbera flower and some Wax Flowers, Here is a picture of the finished thing.

Seaside Painting - The Beginning

I have now started painting my that seaside picture for my friend, I have done the main colours then I will at the detail as I go along.

Seaside painting - sketch book drawings

Here is the finished drawing and painting for the sea side I am doing. Now I have the design I will drawn it out on a giant piece of canvas. More pictures are to follow.

Beach scene Painting

I have been commissioned to do a beach scene painting for some one I know. Here are some of the initial drawings for what I have done, I will soon be starting the final painting. 

I did some of these as examples and tests befour I start the final image.
